It is amusing to see the recent selective outrage from liberals when a Kentucky clerk, Kim Davis, disobeyed the law by refusing to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples because it violated her religious convictions. (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE)
Yet, the Left has been unaffected or over-joyed when other public official have willfully defied same-sex marriage laws, such as: when the clerks in San Francisco violated state law by issuing marriage licenses to homosexuals (see HERE and HERE), or when official in several states failed to enforce bans on same-sex marriage (see HERE and HERE and HERE), or when liberal local governments refused to issue permits and licences to companies that privately supported traditional marriage (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE)

And, it goes beyond same-sex marriage. The liberals have no problem when Pres. Obama refused to enforce immigration laws (see HERE and HERE) and ignored voters and judge rulings by issuing amnesty (see HERE and HERE and HERE), or when he violated 24 other laws (see HERE), or when Democrat public officials refuse to enforce or violate federal law (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE, etc. etc.).

Furthermore, liberals are renowned for their acts of civil disobedience. (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE)
What makes the case of Kim Davis fascinating, is that she is a Democrat. (see HERE) So, she is just doing what Democrats do.
