Homosexuality - Absurd comparisons

Liberals have found all sorts of absurd comparisons to promote homosexuality. For years they have drawn strained parallels between their push to legally redefine the word "marriage" and the black civil; rights movement. (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE)  The Advocate, a leading gay publication, calls it: "Gay is the New Black." (see HERE) and, transgender advocates are jumping on board. (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE) And, bisexuals aren't far behind. (see HERE)

Rational people will not only immediately recognize the sharp difference between skin color and aberrant sexual behaviors/orientations or sexual mutilation (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE), but also while gays may have been victims of hate crimes (about half the rate as for race and about the same rate as for religion--see HERE), "gays were never enslaved, denied the right to vote, nor segregated in public schools" or elsewhere, nor were they subjected to institutionalized lynchings and mob violence. (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE), Skin color is also self-evident, while sexual orientation is not. So inane has been the comparison that many black leaders and members of the black community find it insulting. (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE) Even a liberal, black, gay journalist decries it. (see HERE)

More recently it seems they have taken to equating dispassionate, petty, and cowardly legal wranglings and spirited public debates bent on promoting sexual deviance, with  honorable, courageous, and bloody battles to preserve life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
