A caring and considerate liberal friend informed me that: "No woman should have to answer to, nor jump thru increasingly absurd hoops devised by those who disagree with her choice."
My response was that even though liberalism has increasingly become the majority these days, they haven't "entirely obliterated the Constitutional principle of taxation with representation." In other words, they "can't yet deny taxpayers their right to choose the terms under which their tax dollars will be spent when paying for other people's sexual irresponsibility."
I went on to explain that liberals are ironically and illegitimately trying to deny taxpayers their right to choose how their tax dollars may be spent--whether directly through contraceptives or indirectly through funding organizations who perform abortions. Don't forget the "golden Rule"--i.e. "he who has the gold, makes the rules." Whether intended or not, to the extent that people shift responsibility and payment for their personal behaviors to others, particularly to the government, and thereby become dependent on the government, they are somewhat owned by the government and are at the whim of the government, just as they would be with parents ("Our house, our rules").
Adult dependency on the government is unwitting abrogation of control and acceptance of bondage and enabled manipulation.
In principle, the same applies to government mandated contraceptives and abortion coverage by business and personal insurance, like that required under Obamacare. (see HERE)
