As Sean Hannity pointed out, the President, as predicted, and instead of bringing the country together in collective grief and sympathy for the victims of the mass murders in Oregon, and prior to all the facts coming in, Obama again let no crises go un-exploited, and politicized the occasion by pushing his anti-gun agenda. Granted, the President hasn't exploited every mass shootings, presumably because not all of them are compatible with his full range of agendas. (see HERE)
Yet, along with leveling several debatable or even false claims (see HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE), Obama called for "common sense" gun legislation..
It is anyone's guess what he means by this, but since the shootings at UCC, like in Lafayette and almost all mass shootings since 1950, took place in posted Gun Free Zone (see HERE and HERE and HERE), the President must have something else in mind..
Since some of the changes in gun laws previously proposed by the president wouldn't have prevented many of the mass murders, who knows what he has in mind. (see HERE)
And, it becomes more than a little irony rich when the gun controller in chief becomes the gun dealer in chief:
