Bernie - Free Education

Even though we as a nation are $19 TRILLION in debt, it makes perfect sense (yes..I am being facetious) to buy votes by allocating another $393.5 BILLION each year of money we don't have, and put it towards paying for college education for an increased number of students who can't get jobs after they graduate. This makes even more sense because publicly funded schools invariably do better than private institutions, in part because humans tend to value most what they get for free. Besides, tuition costs aren't high enough. Providing free college education will ramp up the demand (as is the case most often when government handouts come into play). So, go Bernie!

Bernie isn't alone in this specific case of Liberal dysfunction. Obama proposed free tuition for community colleges (see HERE and HERE), and Hillary Clinton has proposed free tuition for 4-year public colleges. (see HERE and HERE)

Hypocrisy - CMP vs Hillary

On the one hand, The Center for Medical Progress has released a number of videos in which staff and management of Planned Parenthood, or their affiliates, have made comments that raise serious concerns about illegal trafficking in baby body parts, thus warranting thorough investigations.(see HERE)  Liberal supporters of Planned Parenthood have circled the wagon, and made every effort to discredit the videos and their producers, the latest of which is claiming the videos were "manipulated" and "not credible". (see HERE and HERE)

On the other hand, It was recently disclosed that while Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton kept a private email server on which she illegally sent and received classified correspondences and information. (see HERE) The former Secretary has since made several demonstrably false statement about the controversy.(see HERE) And, Hillary supporters have come to her defense and down-played the issue or even dismissed it as unimportant. Evidently, the Left is big on whistle-blowers and  investigative reporting except when it is one of their own. Then, it becomes a new set of rules, a double standard.
